dumb ticket takers
Treating programmers like they need everything spelled out for them word for word. They should just always take the next ticket on it.
The main problem is that this makes them turn off their brains. They never ask, "how far are we along in the project" or "is this actually the most important thing?".
If a developer can't tell you exactly what needs to happen next... doesn't understand the project. This is why projects take so much longer than they should.
