Slack threads have a weird, but unique design.

Design ideas:

1. They are only one level deep (usually a great constraint)
2. They can be off of any message
3. They don't have any title
4. They are collected into the sidebar in an infinitely scrollable list.
5. If you mention someone in them they act as a DM and you get notifications for every reply.
