Power of a Title
Titles are an underappreciated thing. Slack and Facebook have gotten rid of them to make the price of entry cheaper.
The main power lies in it's ability to summarize and curate content. A title is a small sentence at most while the post it represents is much longer. This gives power to the reader at a small price to the writer. This is ideal in most team situations because a post is read more times than it's written.
It also increases the ability to quickly find and reference something. If a piece is about, "Slack" then it's likely going to end up in the title.
