We all have selfish reasons why we do things. We often hide these motives even from ourselves.
Perhaps this is why I feel the strong need to advocate Basecamp. I might feel that I'm right and I want and need valuation from my peers for my ideas. I want people to respect me and my decisions and call me "brilliant" and thank me for showing them the light. Has far less to do with actual productivity
