Synchronous Communication is being on Hold

Have you ever been on hold to wait to talk to a human on the phone? It stinks. This is the idea that things have to happen in Real-time. Some smarter phone systems will call you back when they have a spot in line, this is more asynchronous. Even better would be something like email.
