Slapdash meeting
A meeting with a lot of people in it, ill preparation, that's too short for real discussions, much of it is discovery and catching people up and worst of all a decision has to be made in the end.
This contrasts with the 2 person shaping meeting where you are roughing out an idea with a person that shares the same context. Then a later de-risking meeting with 2-4 people where they poke holes in your ideas where you present the idea from a blank whiteboard (no document yet, just bread boarding). After that, the idea is ready for a more formal written document that embodies all the prep to then be bet upon.
These meetings are far more efficient and far more empowering. People talk a lot about being in a flow state.
Sometimes these meetings can be replaced by a message board post.
