Imagined V.S. Discovered Tasks

Imagined Tasks are tasks that you say, "I think we'll need to do this" before you've done any work. They are sometimes true, but never all inclusive. The Discovered tasks are tasks that you realize matter when you've stared working on the project.

How do you avoid Discovered tasks from blowing up your Scope? You start on something meaningful as soon as possible that you can get working end-to-end. This way you'll have something to show within a few days of the Cycle.
