Email's overly formal problem
Email tends to emulate physical letters. As such people feel the need to have overly formal language like, "Dear Mr. CEO, ..." and end with, "Sincerely, Gage". Also they tend to add in a lot of fluff that just makes the email take longer to read through. This slows down communication needlessly.
